Newton Place is set to launch in late 2023 and forms part of a wider, game-changing regeneration project, located on the doorstep of Lewisham National Rail and DLR station. Newton Place will be Get Living’s third neighbourhood in London.

  • New Local Hub

Newton Place will provide 649 new homes, including 424 for market rent, 106 affordable, and 119 for co-living. The co-living homes will be self-contained studio-style flats with shared communal facilities.

The commercial element forms an integral part of the plans. The neighbourhood will be home to 25,000 sq ft of retail space, 15,000 sq ft of food and beverage space, a gym, multiplex cinema and 10,000 sq ft of co-working space, which will provide an attractive amenity for residents and an important hub for local businesses.

  • Connected

Newton Place is one of the largest regeneration projects in South East London and will provide a new heart for Lewisham town centre and form an important pedestrian link between Lewisham rail and DLR stations and the existing town centre. The location on the doorstep of the station and excellent connections means residents, workers and visitors will be able to be in London Bridge in nine minutes, Charing Cross in 17 minutes, and Canary Wharf in 25 minutes. Lewisham has also been identified as a future location of the Bakerloo line extension which is currently in consultation.

  • Phase Two in Autumn 2023

Construction is well under way with the commercial and retail components anticipated to open late 2023. The first phase has already delivered 362 homes and is a joint project between Lewisham Gateway Development – a subsidiary of Muse Developments, the London Borough of Lewisham, the Mayor of London and Transport for London, supported by Homes England.
